Amanda Resanovich
Biography
Amanda Resanovich is a fundraising professional who is passionate about Wayne State University’s goals for social mobility and exceptional education for all. Amanda was born and raised in Windsor, Ontario, just across the Detroit River in Canada, and obtained her two undergraduate degrees at the University of Windsor. After marrying a U.S. service member, Amanda traveled around the country as a military spouse for 13 years. During that time, she attended Washington University in St. Louis to obtain her Masters in Nonprofit Management, and sat on the board of several nonprofits.
She returned to the area in 2022 and is happy to make metro Detroit her first permanent home in a long time. Detroit is very special to Amanda, and she knows that Wayne State University is at the forefront of creating success for the city and the students that call it home.
