Biography
Cuyler Strong is an Assistant Professor of Finance in the Department of Finance at the Mike Ilitch School of Business. His primary reseach interests are in the area of Investments, Market Microstructure, Derivatives and the Financial News Media. He has published in the Journal of Financial Markets and the Journal of Futures Markets. Prior to joining Wayne State University he worked as a Financial Economist at the Securities and Exchange Commission, where he mainly worked on regulation related to short selling and options markets. He has also taught the University of Maryland-College Park and Washington State University.
