Cheryl McPherson

Biography

Cheryl McPherson is the Director of Business Affairs at the Wayne State University Mike Ilitch School of Business. She has over 20 years of leadership experience in higher education. Cheryl has fiscal operations, human resource management, grant writing, and community outreach development expertise.

Cheryl graduated from Detroit Public Schools as an honor student. Cheryl attended Michigan State University in East Lansing, Michigan, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Public Resource Management. She received a Master of Science in Administration from Central Michigan University.

She's committed to improving college access for students from historically marginalized communities by participating on education committees with various non-profit organizations. Cheryl is known as a resourceful leader with the tenacity to turn vision into reality.
