Marissa Villanueva

As the Major Gift Associate at the Mike Ilitch School of Business, Marissa provides support to her fellow Major Gift fundraising colleagues in the Office of Development & Alumni Affairs. Prior to working at Wayne State University, Marissa worked at The Henry Ford as the Corporate & Foundation Relations Specialist where she learned she had a passion for fundraising. She loves being part of a team that diligently works to create more educational opportunities, provide access to state-of-the-art facilities, and offer unique experiences to Wayne State students and alumni. She is also the office comedian – a 100% self-proclaimed title, unconfirmed by anyone.

In her free time, Marissa enjoys entertaining her pets and playing video games.
