Biography
Rick comes to Wayne State after a four-decade career at Walsh College. For many of those years, he served as Accounting Department Chair. Courses taught included all levels of Financial Accounting and Auditing, in both the undergraduate and graduate programs. Rick was also the key instructor and coordinator of the Metro-Detroit CPA Exam Review Course, guiding many students to successfully complete the rigorous CPA Exam.
Rick earned an MBA and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Detroit. Prior to his full-time position at Walsh, Rick taught courses at the University of Detroit, Eastern Michigan University, Macomb Community College, and Henry Ford Community College. He was the recipient of the 2002 MICPA Accounting Educator of the Year Award and the 2003 MICPA Distinguished Achievement in Accounting Education Award.
