Biography

Hello and welcome! I'm so glad you're here.

My name is Krystal Tosch, and I’m the Digital Accessibility Analyst at the University of Michigan-Flint. In this role, I work across campus to promote inclusive digital environments by ensuring that our web content, instructional materials, and technologies are accessible to everyone. I'm passionate about helping faculty and staff create equitable learning and working experiences for all users, regardless of ability.

Before joining UM-Flint, I served as the Web Accessibility Coordinator at Wayne State University, where I had the unique opportunity to collaborate with both the Office of Marketing & Communications and the Office for Teaching & Learning. I’ve also spent many years as an instructional designer and multimedia specialist, supporting faculty in designing accessible and engaging learning experiences across multiple formats.

During my time at Wayne State, I also enjoyed teaching courses such as First Year Seminar (FYS 1010): Learning with the Brain in Mind and TIS 1500: Business Tools and Applications, both delivered in the online and online synchronous formats.

Outside of work and teaching, I love spending time with my family, baking, listening to music, attending concerts, and exploring all the beautiful places Michigan has to offer.
