Biography
Dave has been with Wayne State since 2004 in Full Time and Part Time roles. In addition to his current adjunct faculty role, Dave is an Associate Dean and Program Director at Western Governors University where he oversee the Network Engineering and Security Program.
After earning a Bachelors of Science in Logistics (Supply Chain) at Penn State, Dave began his professional career in procurement at Chrysler Motors and earned his MBA at the University of Detroit. Dave also holds a Masters of Science in Information Technology from the University of Colorado-Boulder and a PhD in Instructional Technology from Wayne State.
Dave filled his tool box across industries and professional domains subsequent to his tenure at Chrysler that included roles such as: Engineering Field Support and Materials Manager for a Tier 2 automotive supplier, VP of Software Development in the marketing, training and financial industries, Owner of an IT Consulting and Managed Services company...all the while maintaining ties to Higher Education.
In his tenure as a Senior Instructor as Wayne State, Dave was also the Head Coach of the men's rugby team and has been a member of the College of Business hiring committee.
Outside of work, Dave is active in hiking, golf, rugby, triathlon and as the lead singer and guitarist in his band, the Trust.
