Janet Mick

Janet Mick is an academic advisor in the Mike Ilitch School of Business. She holds a bachelor of science in education from Western Michigan University and is currently working on her master's here at Wayne State University.

Janet has a passion for helping her students achieve their academic goals. Her mission is to help students successfully navigate through their college experience until they reach graduation. Janet's advising philosophy involves creating a welcoming and supportive environment which is essential to establishing successful working relationships.

She finds it rewarding to see students graduate and transition from student to professional, utilizing the skills they learned in college to contribute to society.

When she is not advising, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, reading and traveling.
