Susan Crowley

Biography

Susan Crowley, a College-to-Career (C2C) education enthusiast, has dedicated over 20 years to higher education career services. Her commitment to delivering students resources, networking opportunities, and professional development for C2C success is unwavering. In her role, she collaborates with the employment community and campus colleagues to assist with C2C preparation and to bring a pipeline of viable employment opportunities to the Mike Ilitch School of Business, contributing to student mobility and career success.

With an extensive background in employer relations, event planning, database management, website development, and content creation, Crowley has actively collaborated with all WSU schools and colleges on C2C programs and resources. Her leadership and innovation were particularly evident when she designed and launched the WSU Canvas Career Toolbox, enabling WSU faculty and staff to seamlessly integrate C2C resources into their curricula.

Education

  • Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Psychology from Central Michigan University
  • Master of Interdisciplinary Studies (MIS) degree from Wayne State University with a thesis focus on Work Motivation.

Crowley holds a Leading for Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion certification from the University of Michigan Ann Arbor and a Career Vogue Employer Relations Academy (ERA) Certification through the Mountain Pacific Association of Colleges and Employers (MPACE). She continues her professional development to remain up to date with current industry practices through her participation and memberships with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), Midwest Association of Colleges and Employers (Midwest ACE), Michigan Career Educators and Employer Alliance, the Great Lakes Regional Student Success Conference, and the Career Leadership Collective.
