LaCema Womack

With over 25 years of experience in higher education, I am a passionate and skilled academic program manager and part-time faculty at Wayne State University - Mike Ilitch School of Business. My mission is to ensure the quality and excellence of the business programs and courses through accreditation and compliance standards, as well as to facilitate the successful transition and development of business students through online teaching and instructional design.

 

As the accreditation and compliance program manager, I interpret and apply the AACSB standards for reporting and accreditation of the business school, maintain the required documentation and data, and provide policy recommendations and guidance. As a part-time faculty, I teach the Student Success and Career Development course for incoming business students, using engaging and interactive online learning methods and tools. I have also published three national publications on distance education and public health and have secured and implemented educational grants for special projects.
