John LaTella
John J. Latella '95, J.D. was inducted into the Ilitch School Entrepreneurship and Innovation Hall of Fame Class of 2024. He is the Founder of Legacy Fantasy Sports, and a principal of Latella, Inc., a business consulting practice focused on small closely held companies. With an expertise in family-owned enterprises, Mr. Latella has over 20 years of executive management and entrepreneurial experience in Southeast Michigan.

John J. Latella '95, J.D. is the Founder of Legacy Fantasy Sports, and a principal of Latella, Inc., a business consulting practice focused on small closely held companies. With an expertise in family-owned enterprises, Mr. Latella has over 20 years of executive management and entrepreneurial experience in Southeast Michigan. Most notable, Mr. Latella is the former CEO/General Counsel-Co-Owner of Garden Fresh Gourmet, where he lead over 450 team members in the creation and sale of North America's #1 selling salsa. As CEO, Mr. Latella was instrumental in the all cash sale of Garden Fresh Gourmet to The Campbell Soup Company in 2015.
Mr. Latella is a member of Salvation Army's National Advisory Board, and former Chair of the Salvation Army's Southeast Michigan Advisory Board. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University, a Master of Science in Finance from Walsh College and a Juris Doctorate from the Michigan State University School of Law.
