Biography

Scott Munekawa has industry experience working with Fortune 500 companies in automotive and retail space. He advises on global digital marketing and data strategy to help businesses better connect with consumers online and offline. Scott brings these experiences and stories into the classroom to provide real-world application.

Currently, Scott is a global insights manager at Google. Before working in digital marketing, Scott led Google’s Street View Project in Canada.

Additionally, he advises entrepreneurs on how to better understand data and digital marketing. Though originally a transplant from California, Scott moved to Michigan seven years ago and has embraced Detroit. He serves on the Board of Directors of MACC Development in the 48214 zip code and is focused on neighborhood revitalization in the Pingree Park neighborhood.
