WSU professor named a "best reviewer" for top journal
Tingting Yan, assistant professor of global supply chain management at the Wayne State University School of Business Administration, has been selected as a "best reviewer" for the Journal of Operations Management.
The Journal of Operations Management is consistently ranked as the top academic journal in the fields of operations management and supply chain management.
"Peer reviewers are a vital part of the academic publishing process," said John Taylor, chair of the Department of Marketing and Global Supply Chain Management at Wayne State. "They serve to validate and confirm new research and establish a method through which scholarly work can effectively be evaluated."
Yan and her fellow award recipients will be honored during a special session at the 2014 Academy of Management annual conference in Philadelphia.
