Wayne State Athletics: 4 Ilitch Business tennis student-athletes recognized for outstanding academic achievements
Four tennis players in the Mike Ilitch School of Business were recently named to the GLIAC All-Academic Teams. Seniors Griffen Mertz (Information Systems Management) and Taylor Vane (Finance), and sophomore Niklas Karcz (Global Supply Chain) all received All-Academic Excellence Team honors for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least a 3.5. Senior Derek Sammons (Accounting) was awarded All-Academic Team honors for maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.0-3.49. Vane was one of three seniors on the team to earn GLIAC All-Academic honors for the third year in a row.
