Walgreens Boots Alliance CEO Roz Brewer to kick off Ilitch School’s winter executive speaker series

Detroit native and Cass Tech alumna Rosalind (Roz) Brewer will be the next special guest of the Mike Ilitch School of Business Dean’s Executive Speaker Series. Brewer is the chief executive officer of Walgreens Boots Alliance, Inc., and is ranked No. 6 on Fortune’s 50 Most Powerful Women in Business.

This live virtual event will be hosted on wayne.edu/live at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 2. Register now at rsvp.wayne.edu/roz-brewer-2022/.

The event will be moderated by two-time Wayne State University alumna Pamela J. Moore (‘94, M.B.A. ‘00), president and chief executive officer of the Detroit Public Schools Foundation.

All Wayne State students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends are invited to attend this free event, which will feature an insightful discussion between our moderator and featured guest. Attendees will also have the opportunity to submit potential questions along with their event registration.

Cass Tech students are especially encouraged to attend this discussion between two prominent Cass Tech graduates. The event is intended to serve as a launching point for an enhanced partnership between the Ilitch School and Cass Tech that will benefit the students and alumni of both institutions.

About the Mike Ilitch School of Business Dean’s Executive Speaker Series

What does the future of business look like? How are we growing, moving and changing? To address these pivotal questions, the Mike Ilitch School of Business launched the Dean’s Executive Speaker Series in January 2021. The series is presented by the Ilitch School’s Graduate Programs Office and hosted by Assistant Dean Kiantee Rupert-Jones.
