Volunteer April 13 with supply chain group and Habitat for Humanity

In conjunction with the Global Supply Chain Management Industry Advisory Board, the Global Supply Chain Management Association will host a Habitat for Humanity service event in Detroit on the morning of Friday, April 13, from 8 a.m. to noon. All Wayne State business students are invited to participate.

The group will be prepping a lot for a Habitat for Humanity house to be built on. The group will be a mix of students, faculty and representatives from industry advisory board companies. These companies include Mahle, Ryder, Magna, Ford, General Motors, FCA, Meritor and more.

The event will not only be an opportunity for Mike Ilitch School of Business students to give back to the City of Detroit, but also to informally network and bring the business school family closer. The event is open to all undergraduate and graduate business students, as well as faculty.

GSCMA will reach out to those who sign up with the location and further details. Contact Jack Floyd at fx2236@wayne.edu with any questions.
