Two SBA alumni among Crain's 2013 "40 under 40"

Congratulations to WSU School of Business Administration alumni Michael Shanlikian (B.A. ’97 – Accounting) and Matthew Stone (M.B.A. ’03) on being selected for Crain’s Detroit Business’ 2013 “40 under 40” list.

Each year since 1991, the publication “ …has honored 40 of the community’s high achievers with its 40 under 40 awards. This year’s winners launched companies, helped grow established firms, created products, swung international deals, improved health care and aided nonprofits. The goal is to honor the best and brightest in Southeast Michigan who have made their marks in business before age 40.”

Shanlikian, 38, is vice president of finance for Lear Corporation’s North American seating business unit. Stone, 34, is director of project development at IBI Group in Southfield.

All the 2013 winners will be honored Nov. 6 at Emagine in Royal Oak.
