Supply Chain Now: Steve Britt on the future of international supply chain management
Supply Chain Now, a podcast spotlighting the people, technologies, best practices and critical issues facing the supply chain industry, featured a one-on-one interview with Steve Britt, senior manager of customs at Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and part-time faculty in global supply chain management at the Mike Ilitch School of Business. On the episode, Britt talks about international customs, his current role, and some observations he has made about the next generation through teaching at the Ilitch School. Britt references Risk Management/Customs Administration (GSC 5670/7670), the course he teaches jointly with Bill Hurles, retired executive director of supply chain at General Motors. The course, open to both undergraduate and graduate students, is offered virtually Feb. 8 – May 4 on Tuesdays for the winter 2021 semester. Winter 2021 registration is now open.
