Students practice stock pitches for investors

The Mike Ilitch School of Business Applied Security Analysis course FIN 7290 will hold Stock Pitch Day on Tuesday, April 4, at 6 p.m. in the Fishbowl.

Throughout the semester, business students in the class have been learning practical security analysis techniques and investing approaches employed by professional investment managers, and they have heard directly from guest lecturers in the investment field. The class is designed for students who are seeking careers in investing, portfolio management, financial analysis and related financial service industries.

At the Stock Pitch Day event, each student will present a stock pitch to their peers, instructors, alumni, local investors and other members of the WSU community.

Refreshments will be served at 5:30 p.m.
