Scholarships Available for Global Supply Chain Management Studies, Applications Due January 25

Students interested in studying Global Supply Chain Management have a chance to earn a scholarship from a pool of more than $30,000 in funds dedicated to this newest major at the School of Business Administration. Scholarships will be in the amount of $2,000-$4,000 depending on remaining semesters to graduate, number of applicants, and several other factors. Following are the requirements:

  • Complete the application form and submit with Wayne State transcript
  • Have a minimum WSU GPA of 3.00
  • Be registered prior to award for GSC 5620 Global Supply Chain Management, or have already taken this class.
  • You may apply now if you have not yet declared this major, but for a scholarship to be awarded to you and used you must be admitted to the WSU Business School and enrolled in the GSCM major.
Scholarships will be distributed on a semester by semester basis with the total award spread over the remaining planned number of semesters. Students must remain a GSCM major at WSU to be eligible, and maintain a minimum 3.00 cumulative GPA each semester to maintain eligibility for the next semester’s scholarship payout.
 
Deadline to submit applications is January 25, 2010. Submit application and transcripts by email, postal mail or drop off in Room 300 Prentis. Additional instructions are included on the application, which can be downloaded here.
