SBA development director discusses planned giving and legacy
Steve Moore, director of development and major gifts for Wayne State University School of Business Administration, spoke with Communicating Business’ Matt Friedman about Legal Legacy and Planned Giving Roundtable of Southeast Michigan. Moore, who serves as co-chair of the roundtable, discussed its value personally and professionally. Legal Legacy is a Michigan campaign encouraging individuals to name nonprofit organizations in their wills. The campaign is sponsored by Planed Giving Roundtable of Southeast Michigan, a group of professionals in legal, financial and other fields with a focus on planned giving.
"The organization strives to make people aware how important it is to leave a legacy and to make a difference in the lives that follow," Moore said.
Moore said his role at the School of Business Administration has reinforced the value of the organization's work.
