RE Journals: Ilitch School alum and BOV member inducted into 2020 Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame

Kevin Jappaya, Mike Ilitch School of Business alum (B.S. accounting, '02) and Board of Visitors member, has been inducted to the 2020 Commercial Real Estate Hall of Fame by Midwest Real Estate News - RE Journals. Jappaya has logged more than 15 years helping clients achieve their real estate goals throughout the Detroit area. He has quickly become known for a tireless work ethic, an unfailing commitment to his clients and a top-level degree of professionalism. Jappaya also boasts an entrepreneurial spirit that motivates so many top commercial real estate professionals. After spending years at a local real estate brokerage firm, that entrepreneurial vision led him to establish KJ Commercial in Farmington Hills, MI. Today, Jappaya leads the firm as president and is steadily building KJ Commercial into a regional power.

Jappaya was featured in DBusiness Magazine as a "30 in Their Thirties" 2013 honoree, was the 2014 recipient of the WSU Ilitch School Emerging Leader Award, was a recipient of a 2019 Michigan CCIM Chapter Award and has been named a CoStar Power Broker numerous times.
