On campus: Heather Weiss helping Warriors rebound
Heather Weiss, the 2012 valedictorian at Port Huron High School and a sophomore marketing major, is playing her second season of volleyball for Wayne State University. Weiss is second on the team in kills, with 183, and has 54 blocks so far this season. The right side hitter said she wants to keep improving and helping her team.
"I want to make an impact on the court and help everyone out as much as I can. It’s important to get more experience and more work under my belt," Weiss said.
The Warriors volleyball team (6-7, 9-15 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) will host Findlay on Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Matthaei.
