Myles Stern named interim chair of accounting
Myles Stern has been named interim chair of the Wayne State University Department of Accounting. His appointment will run through the end of 2014.
A member of the WSU faculty since 1971, Stern served as chair of the department from 1980 to 1985. As an associate professor of accounting, has taught a wide variety of courses in accounting and management information systems.
"Myles brings to this role a wealth of knowledge and experience with the department, school and university, as well as a strong commitment to the success of our students," said Margaret L. Williams, interim dean of the School of Business Administration. "I know the school will join me in welcoming and supporting Myles in this important role."
