MLB: Ilitch School grad signs 2-year deal with Marlins
The Miami Marlins have announced the signing of right-hander Anthony Bass to a two-year contract, with a $3 million club option for 2023. Bass graduated from the Mike Ilitch School of Business with a degree in information systems management in 2018 and was inducted into the Wayne State University Athletic Hall of Fame class of 2019. The deal is said to be for a guaranteed $5 million, with a $1 million buyout, a source told MLB.com.
