Metro & state: Wayne State baseball splits doubleheader in Florida
In college baseball, Wayne State split with Alderson Broaddus, winning, 9-6, and losing, 8-4, at Winter Haven, Fla. Junior management major Kyle Zimmerman and Eric Cunningham each drove in three runs for the Warriors in the opener. Redshirt freshman management major Spencer Church hit a two-run home run for WSU (9-2) in the nightcap.
