Meet the Accounting Firms and Career Day

Whether you are a freshman or preparing for gradation, it is never too early to begin looking for opportunities in your desired field.

The School of Business Administration’s Career Planning and Placement Office will be hosting its “Meet the Accounting Firms” career fair on Sept. 18 from 3-6 p.m. at the McGregor Memorial Conference Center.

Students should come in professional attire and be ready to network with recruiters from 11 public accounting firms. School of Business Administration alumni are also welcome to attend.

“This and other events hosted by the Career Planning and Placement Office are great opportunities for our students,” said Emily Kravetz, director of Career Planning and Placement. “The firms come to WSU’s School of Business Administration because they know our students can deliver the talent they are looking for.”

Firms in attendance include: Deloitte, Doeren Mayhew, GHD CPAs and Advisors, IRS--Criminal Investigation, KPMG, Plante Moran, Polk and Associates, PwC, Rehmann, Thomson Reuters and UHY Advisors.

The “Career Day” career fair will allow industry employers to consider students for internships and full-time jobs. Career Day is Sept. 26 from 3-5 p.m. at McGregor.

Registration is required for both events. To register, visit www.waynebizcareers.com, select “Events” then “Workshops” and click RSVP.
