Ilitch School welcomes DTE Energy controller to its Board of Visitors

The Mike Ilitch School of Business is proud to welcome DTE Energy VP of Finance and Controller Mark Rolling to its Board of Visitors, effective Dec. 1. Board of Visitors members serve renewable three-year terms at the invitation of the dean. Their role is to advise and support the dean on the strategic direction and advancement of the school.

About Mark Rolling

Mark Rolling joined DTE Energy in 2006. He currently serves on the DTE Energy Foundation board and the DTE Energy Investment Committee. Rolling previously served as vice president, treasurer and investor relations, controller of DTE Gas, director of investor relations, director of corporate financial planning and analysis, and assistant general auditor.

Prior to joining DTE, Rolling worked for what was then the Chrysler Corporation, where he held several roles of increasing responsibility in finance and controlling. Before that, he worked in public accounting with Ernst & Young, most recently as an audit manager.

A two-time Ilitch School graduate, Rolling earned a bachelor’s in accounting and an M.B.A. from Wayne State University. He is a certified public accountant.
