Ilitch School senior Trent Brodbeck wins national community service award
Wayne State Warrior Football tight end Trent Brodbeck received the Allstate AFCA Good Works Team award for his dedication to serving the community Thursday. He is a senior global supply chain management senior in the Mike Ilitch School of Business and one of only 24 college football players from across the country to receive the honor this year. When he isn't on the field, Brodbeck dedicates his time to the community by doing things like rebuilding a home in Pontiac for those struggling with addiction and abuse, helping the homeless and reading to kids at elementary schools.
