Ilitch Business supply chain students awarded 2020 DIA-OFA scholarships

Three Mike Ilitch School of Business global supply chain management majors recently won scholarships from the Detroit Intermodal Association - Ocean Freight Association (DIA-OFA).

The DIA-OFA is dedicated to the promotion of intermodal (rail-to-truck, etc.) and ocean freight transportation. Their mission is to facilitate the growth and understanding of the supply chain industry through programs that encourage strong business relationships, community involvement, education and social interaction.

As part of that mission, DIA-OFA awards scholarships to college supply chain students in the area. This year, DIA-OFA awarded scholarships to three Ilitch School students: Alexander Abdulnour, Afnan Al-Wasim and Carlita Buffington.
