Ilitch Business students part of record-breaking 19 GLIAC All-Academic student-athletes on men's swimming and diving team
The Wayne State University men's swimming and diving program led the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) with a school-record 19 All-Academic honorees. In addition, the Warriors shattered the previous school record of six All-Academic Excellence honorees with a GLIAC-best 11 for the 2019-20 academic year.
Six Ilitch Business students contributed to breaking the record. Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 were Ryan Katulski (accounting) and Chris Westgate (management). Ilitch Business students receiving All-Academic Team honors for maintaining a cumulative GPA between 3.0 and 3.49 are Jacob Barstad (finance), Tristan Fraley (accounting), Jack Rogers (accounting) and Derek Wilson (marketing).
