The Wayne State University women's swimming and diving program had 14 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) All-Academic recipients, the second-most in the conference. 

Ilitch Business students named to GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 were Julia Brunner (marketing) and Adrianna Waack (finance).  

The Ilitch Business student receiving All-Academic Team honors for maintaining a cumulative GPA between 3.0 and 3.49 is Amanda Hurchalla (management).
