Ilitch Business student-athletes receive GLIAC All-Academic honors for men’s golf

Six Mike Ilitch School of Business student-athletes on Wayne State University’s men’s golf team have been awarded Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) All-Academic honors.

Ilitch Business students receiving All-Academic Excellence Team honors for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 were graduate student Nicholas Winiarski (M.B.A.), senior Grant Haefner (management) and junior Carson McKinlay (global supply chain management).

Haefner and McKinlay were recognized for the third time in their careers, while Winiarski earned his second academic award.

Ilitch Business students earning All-Academic Team accolades for having a cumulative GPA between 3.0 and 3.49 were seniors Brett Boes (global supply chain management) and Brendan Seys (finance) and freshman Jack Tucker (management).

Boes was honored for the fourth time, while both Seys and Tucker were recognized for the first time in their WSU careers.
