Ilitch Business student-athletes receive All-GLIAC recognition for women’s outdoor track and field
The Wayne State University women’s outdoor track and field squad had a school-record 21 GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) All-Academic honorees, eclipsing the previous mark of 18 established during the 2016-17 school year. Two of this year’s honorees are Mike Ilitch School of Business student-athletes.
Named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence Team for maintaining a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5 are sophomores Thailyia Christensen (marketing) and Mikayla Williams (management). Christensen and Williams are recipients in their first season eligible.
