Ilitch Business student-athletes receive All-GLIAC recognition for women’s golf
The Wayne State University women’s golf program placed four student-athletes on the GLIAC (Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference) All-Academic Teams. Two of this year’s honorees are Mike Ilitch School of Business student-athletes.
The student-athlete receiving All-Academic Excellence Team honors for maintaining a GPA of at least 3.5 is sophomore Natalie Groom (marketing). Groom was honored for the first time as freshmen or first-year transfer students are not eligible.
Senior Brooke Busse (management) is the lone representative on the GLIAC All-Academic Team, which honors student-athletes for having a cumulative GPA between 3.0 and 3.49. This is the third straight year Busse has earned Academic All-GLIAC honors.
