Five Qs: Robert Forsythe, New Dean of Wayne State Business School

Changes are coming to Wayne State University School of Business Administration. DBusiness Daily News sat down with Robert Forsythe, a professor of finance and former dean of the University of South Florida’s College of Business and newly appointed dean for the WSU business school, about what he hopes to add to the school. Forsythe, who will start his new role on July 21, wants to bring the business community and students closer together. In his former position he started a mentoring program that allowed community leaders and students to engage in the real world. "I think it’s important for the business school to get involved with local area companies and help them in any way we can," he said. Forsythe is concerned about graduation rates and believes that a mentor program could assist with that.
