FEI Detroit honors Ilitch School students

The Detroit Chapter of Financial Executives International (FEI) honored former Mike Ilitch School of Business students Vyshnavi Chivukula (finance and information systems management, May 2020) and Adam Woznicki (M.B.A., May 2020) on February 24.

The Financial Executives International Academic Award recognizes outstanding undergraduate and graduate students at Southeastern Michigan universities pursuing degrees that emphasize accounting or finance.

Vyshnavi Chivukula

Chivukula earned her double major in finance and information systems management in May 2020. She graduated with a cumulative GPA of 3.97 and plans on starting a full-time position as a financial analyst for General Motors in July.

During her sophomore year at Wayne State, Chivukula served as a strategic initiatives intern at Flagstar Bank headquarters. In the summer of 2019, she served as an incentives intern at General Motors, where she gained company-wide recognition for winning the GM Finance Intern Case Competition.

Chivukula has also been active on campus as a volunteer for Doctors Without Borders and Students for Orphan Relief.

Adam Woznicki

Woznicki earned his M.B.A. in May 2020. He has been a very active student leader during his time at the Ilitch School.

In his final semester, Woznicki served as president of the Graduate Business Student Association, a social and professional club for M.B.A. students. He served on the dean’s performance review committee, was a panelist for the Society of Financial Service Professionals case study and, most recently, participated on a student panel that was selected to present to the Ilitch School Board of Visitors.

After completing his undergraduate degree at Michigan State University in 2015, Woznicki went to work for Amrock, a leading national provider of title insurance, property valuations and settlement services. He currently serves as a channel captain for Amrock, where he supports the company’s escrow department.
