Extra Credit: Alan Reinstein on linking accounting research, practice
George R. Husband Endowed Professor of Accounting Alan Reinstein was featured in the March 2022 issue of Extra Credit, a newsletter of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). The article, titled “Use your knowledge to boost the profession,” focused on the increased importance of linking scholarship and practice in the field of accounting.
“My job as a professor is to help my students succeed in the profession,” Reinstein said. “How can I do that if I don't know what the profession wants for my students?”
