Entrepreneurs could win $30,000 in Comcast contest

Entries are now open for Comcast’s Innovations 4 Entrepreneurs contest, with 30 business owners slated to win prizes of $10,000 or $30,000.

Applicants are invited to submit a 250-word essay explaining how they could expand on or modify technology to enhance their existing company or startup.

Thirty winners — one startup and one entrepreneur in each of the 15 Comcast business regions — will be awarded $10,000 in cash to invest in technology to help take their business to the next level. Six of these 30 will be chosen as grand prize winners, earning an additional $20,000 and a trip to Comcast headquarters in Philadelphia, where they will meet with business experts to brainstorm growth strategies, business planning, operations, financials and marketing.

Judges are John Jantsch, marketing consultant, speaker and author of several books including Duct Tape Marketing; and Anita Campbell, founder, CEO and publisher of Small Business Trends.

The contest entry period will end March 12. For more information, please visit http://cbcommunity.comcast.com/i4e.
