Delta Sigma Pi Selects WSU Business Student as Regional Collegian of the Year
The International Fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi has selected MBA student Raina Williamson as a Regional Collegian of the Year. Delta Sigma Pi chapters, like the one at Wayne State, annually choose one Collegian of the Year. A committee, appointed by Delta Sigma Pi’s regional vice president, then chooses regional honorees. Wayne State’s chapter is part of the Huron region and Williamson was selected from the pool of chapter winners in this region. All regional winners receive a pearl and ruby badge plus a $400 award from the Delta Sigma Pi Leadership Foundation.
Candidates for Collegian of the Year awards are selected based on their fraternity involvement like attendance at inter-chapter fraternity events, regional initiations, level of leadership demonstrated in Delta Sigma Pi, background in extracurricular activities, and academic GPA.
Delta Sigma Pi is an international, co-ed, professional business fraternity. Delta Sigma Pi members organize various college related activities like fundraisers or social events and perform community service that helps members build important relationships.
