The Airport graduate played two years at Jackson Community College and had an overall record of 12-3, containing a no-hitter.

Vasiliauskas was the winning pitcher Saturday as Wayne State beat Findlay 5-3 in its Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference opener. He began the game in the fifth inning and pitched his team out of a jam, then blanked the Oilers in the sixth. He struck out two in 1 1/3 innings.
