WWJ-AM: Marick Masters on UAW corruption scandal

The federal government may have to step in and correct the UAW problem, according to Wayne State University professor Marick Masters. “You can raise the question, it seems to me legitimate, was this pattern of corruption isolated just to Region 5, or were there other patterns of corruption evident in other regions? The fact that you have so many people involved in such a level of corruption suggests that there is an underlying culture problem in the UAW that needs to be addressed. Masters says that the corruption scandal will make it very difficult now for the UAW to conduct any organizing campaigns in the future.
