WWJ-AM 950: Mother and daughter graduating at Wayne State’s Winter 2018 commencement
Sherry Pruitt, and her daughter Aja Pruitt, will participate during Tuesday’s Winter 2018 commencement ceremonies held at the Fox Theatre in Detroit. Aja’s journey towards earning her bachelor’s of science degree in marketing management from the Mike Ilitch School of Business (MISB) has been a challenge. The summer of her freshman year Aja was diagnosed with 10 brain tumors and suffered from seizures. She continued to move forward encouraged and inspired by her mother who was working on her master’s in business administration degree at MISB.
