WSU student leaders encouraged to apply for Henry and Donnelly awards

The Henry and Donnelly Awards are given annually to students who have made the most outstanding contributions to Wayne State University in the areas of student activities, leadership and service.

The David D. Henry Award is given to one female and one male undergraduate completing their studies in the fall semester, while the Howard A. Donnelly Award is given to one female and one male undergraduate completing their studies in the winter semester. The award selection committees are comprised of university faculty.

Established in 1948, the David D. Henry Award honors Wayne State’s third president. The Howard A. Donnelly Award was established in 1927 at the request of Howard Donnelly through a grant provided in his name.

The deadline for all applications is Monday, April 18, 2016, at 5 p.m.
