WSU business students join UHY Michigan's biggest intern pool

The Michigan practice of UHY Advisors, a leading national certified public accounting firm, last month announced their new hires and interns for 2015-16.

Among the 112 new employees, 10 are students in Wayne State University’s Mike Ilitch School of Business. Milad Alraban, Chelsea Bata, Christa Byrd, Nick Culbertson and Keith Kerr are new interns. John Anderegg and Melinda Wagner are staff accountants. Amy Lin is a manager. Stephanie Paglia is a paraprofessional. Shevonne Taylor works in the accounts receivable department.

"The fall 2015 campus recruiting season was even more competitive than last year. We continued to extend offers at the on-campus interview stage and also brought in more accounting students through our office visit process to continue to add talent to our firm," said recruiting manager, Rina Henning, in an email announcing the hires. "Partners, managers, staff and former interns connected with students on campus to help identify top talent. UHY is being recognized by students as one of the top middle market firms to join!"
