WSU business school welcomes new fundraising professional

The Wayne State University School of Business is proud to announce April Jones as the new senior major gifts officer. Jones previously served as associate director of development and alumni engagement for the MSU College of Law and assistant director of special gifts for Michigan State University.

With more than 15 years of experience in development and fundraising, Jones’ career has included positions at the Michigan Parkinson Foundation, the American Lung Association of Michigan and the St. Vincent and Sarah Fisher Center. She is a graduate of Wayne State University (B.A. ’03), completed training in the Art and Science of Donor Development (ASDD) in 2009 and is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

Jones is delighted to return to her alma mater and eager to share her own "Pivotal Moments" while assisting the School of Business and its supporters in creating many more.
