WDTK: Professor Scott Tainsky interviewed about Sport and Entertainment Management program
Scott Tainsky was interviewed by Ashley Casavant of Warrior Athletics during a recent game. In addition to discussing growing the sport and entertainment management program, he talked about the new Mike Ilitch School of Business building opening in the District Detroit in spring 2018: "We're going to be the only program in the world that's that close to that many resources in sport and entertainment. There are maybe just a couple cities in the world that even have a cultural district that includes sport and entertainment like this, and none of them have a business school right next door. It also means a lot for accounting, being that close to the Big Four [accounting firms]. This is a huge opportunity for our 4,000-plus students to be right there – seamless between work and study. There's no more having to think about traffic going to your internship. It's right across the street."
