Wayne business grad named president and CEO of McLaren Medical Group

William Hardimon (M.B.A. ’01) was named the president and CEO of McLaren Medical Group, a provider network of primary care and specialty physicians and physician extenders, on Oct. 20. Hardimon replaces Mark O’Halla, who is now the executive vice president and chief operating officer at McLaren Health Care.

Hardimon will be responsible for all aspects of McLaren Medical Group’s administrative operations, including the implementation and oversight of key strategic initiatives covering clinical quality, customer service, operational efficiency and growth, and expansion of the network. He will work collaborate with network physicians to ensure the best system-wide practices.

"McLaren employs more than 400 primary and specialty care physicians serving patients throughout the state," O’Halla said. "Bill Hardimon has extensive expertise in the area of medical practice management and shares our vision of providing quality, accessible, patient-centered care to those we are privileged to serve."

Hardimon previously served as CEO of Mid-Michigan Physicians, a Lansing-based multispecialty physician network of approximately 100 providers.
