Two More Executives Join Executives in Residence Program

The School of Business Administration proudly welcomes two additional executives to its Executives in Residence (EIR) program. Both will consult the school on a variety of leadership and strategic management initiatives and fulfill specific responsibilities through special projects.

Greg Geiger, a former senior finance executive at Ford Motor Company; and Stephen Strome, past chairman and CEO of Handleman Company; have joined the EIR program in addition to current executive in residence Terry Cross, an accomplished entrepreneur and founder of Windward Associates.

Strome will develop plans to further enhance the services provided by the School’s Career Planning and Placement office. Geiger will facilitate the establishment of an advisory board to gather input from the business community about the School’s academic programs. Cross continues his successful administration of the Adams Entrepreneur Fellowship program.

The Executives in Residence program was established to enhance academic learning and help develop and maintain professional partnerships with the business community in southeastern Michigan. The program’s success largely depends on its prominent senior executives who work as project organizers, practitioner role models to students, and representatives of the School of Business. For more information about the EIR program, contact the dean’s office at 313-577-4501.
