Student volunteers needed for Michigan Minority Procurement Conference

The Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council (MMSDC), a non-profit organization dedicated to connecting corporations with minority business enterprises, is seeking student volunteers for the annual Michigan Minority Procurement Conference on May 3, 2017, at Cobo Center.

With more than 2,000 expected to attend, including corporate buyers, purchasing executives, diversity advocates and a constituency of thriving entrepreneurs across a variety of industries, this is a tremendous opportunity for students interested in business to connect and network with the Michigan business community.

Volunteers will:

  • Greet attendees as they arrive, answer questions, and escort them to their scheduled appointments
  • Monitor workshop sessions and assist speakers
  • Provide friendly hospitality to attendees

To volunteer, please contact Sharon Crockett at scrockett@minoritysupplier.org or 313-481-4789.
